    No pre-registration is required.  The BERC Spring Job Fair is an event that enables community members and job seekers to meet and speak with representatives from area businesses that are looking for qualified employees.  Job seekers can complete applications and distribute their resume to participating businesses.

    This year’s annual spring encampment depicts the Seven Days Campaign illustrating six major battles between the Army of the Northern Virginia and the Union Army of the Potomac that took place over seven days near Richmond, Virginia in 1862. Carroll Lutheran Church, Grace Hall, 21 Carroll Street, Westminster. Noon.
On June 29, 1863, the tragedy of war unfolded upon the streets of Westminster.  This ferocious battle, although brief, caused major implications upon the battle of Gettysburg, and the Civil War as a whole.  Historian Steven W. Carney describes the events leading up to “Corbit’s Charge,” the battle itself, the aftermath, and the major impacts it had upon the Civil War.
